Jamie’s first appointment was in an ICC arbitration in connection with a dispute between a main contractor and
a specialist subcontractor.
He had been instructed by a leading international law firm who in turn were representing the main contractor.
The dispute was in connection with the installation of a specialist security system for the New Doha International Airport in Qatar.
He provided written testimony in the form of two reports.
Due to the quality of his expert reports, the opposing Counsel declined to cross examine him during the hearing.
The Tribunal preferred his expert evidence
and made a favorable award for the main contractor.
